A hearty and tasty Chile Verde made in a slow cooker with juicy pork and peppers that are full of flavor.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs pork shoulder, diced
- 2 poblano peppers, chopped
- 2 Anaheim peppers, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 can 14
- 5 oz diced tomatoes
- 1 can 4 oz diced green chilies
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Put chopped peppers, onion, garlic, chicken broth, diced tomatoes, green chilies, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker
Then add the pork cuts
Make sure to stir everything together well
On low heat, cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours, or until pork is soft
Hot tortillas or rice should go with it
