Easy Feta Hummus



The tangy flavor of feta cheese is combined with the creamy texture of traditional hummus in this recipe for Easy Feta Hummus. This is a tasty and healthy dip that works well as a side dish, snack, or for gatherings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can 15 ounces chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons water or more as needed
  • Fresh parsley and olive oil for garnish

Instructions:

Place chickpeas, feta cheese, tahini, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, ground cumin, salt, and pepper in a food processor

Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed

Add water as needed to achieve your desired consistency

More water makes it smoother

Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary

Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl

Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with fresh parsley

Serve with pita bread, fresh vegetables, or as a dip for your favorite snacks
